Experimental Platforms

Students will learning to apply STEAM, and collaborate with students around the world. The EIS project will include a robust, multi-tiered education program. 

Education

The EIS Academy is a space education repository and provides courses, lessons, resources and activities to educators and students housing K-12 curricula aligned with national standards.

Experiential Learning

The Enterprise Orbiter will provide educators and students with exciting opportunities and experiences. Explore new ideas and how to send science related experiments related to space; science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics; music, art, history, and other disciplines.

Classroom Tools and Equipment

Students will learning to apply STEAM, and collaborate with students around the world. The EIS project will include a robust, multi-tiered education program.

Online Programming

The EIS provides lessons, curriculum and interactive online programs for use in the classroom. Materials can be used for informal education venues such as family night programs and student camps/workshops or as part of outreach activities.

Challenges & Competition

Competition ignites the educational vision. global competitions include flight experiment opportunities & challenges, data collection/analysis and space history.

Internships

Engage with an online community dedicated to your success. Gain new skills and engage in team projects, collaboration and mentoring opportunities.

Mentoring Programs

EIS is fostering the development of students through  its mentoring programs. EIS offers a K-University interdisciplinary approach to STEAM experimentation and space education. 

EIS Orbiter

Submitting an experiment for orbit is open to all students, at all grade levels (K-University), from any discipline, worldwide. EIS is looking for students to be more than science visionaries and make ideas a reality.  EIS is boldly encouraging students to embrace experiments involving music, art, history, and disciplines other than science.

Experimental Platforms

Students will have the chance to create projects and experiments that will fly on or with the Enterprise Orbiter, engage their community, and collaborate with others around the world!  

 Students are only limited by the scope of their imagination.  With EIS education, the unique environment of space is a student’s classroom.

What is the Enterprise In Space initiative?
