Enterprise In Space
JOIN THIS HISTORIC AND EDUCATIONAL MISSION
Enterprise Orbiter
This project will demonstrate and pioneer new technologies while inspiring and encouraging space enterprise, and is a tribute to the many great visionaries of science and science fiction.
What We Offer
Space Education Courses
A multi-level, freely distributed online space science curriculum that will interface with space flight opportunities to provide a robust, experiential learning experience.
Multi-Round Competitions
Grade level-based, multi-round project and experiment competitions. Projects and experiments are chosen through a competitive process, and in some contest categories, there may be several rounds of winners with a written submission and oral presentation.
Realworld Projects
Our programs put an emphasis on critical thinking, communication skills and real-world experiences. Students are challenged to apply their knowledge and are asked to rephrase, rethink and reframe problems to identify new solutions.
Unique Collaborations
EIS allows for long distance and/or multi-national collaboration. Individuals or teams may choose to work with students from around the world to create a true collaboration. Tasks divided in multiple ways, allowing the teams to practice leadership and teamwork skills.
Reduce Barriers
EIS reduces barriers to access to space education, space science, and student flight experiment development. Standardized interfaces will be offered in various experiment categories to enable participation by lower grade level students and teachers.
Teacher Resources
Educators have access to a multi-level, freely distributed online space science curriculum that will interface with space flight opportunities to provide a robust, experiential learning experience. Including courses, lesson plans, and activities for students.
